Selecting files to compare
There are several ways to choose the files to compare:
You can type in the file path and name into the edit box in the file path bar. Alternatively you can choose one of the recently used files from the drop- down list opening from the edit box:
- You can select the file to compare in the browser that opens if you press the button next to the edit box:
- You can drag and drop the files to compare into the corresponding side of the window from any other applications that supports "Drag and Drop".
You can select files from the context menu in Windows Explorer. To do so just right-click on a PSD file in Windows Explorer:
and select "ComparePSD - Select left file":
Once you have selected the left file, right-click on the file that you wish to compare you first file against and select "ComparePSD - Select right file":

The "ComparePSD - Select right file" is left in the menu in case you change your mind and decide to select another file to the left or have chosen a wrong file to the left accidentally. In this case just start choosing from the beginning.
After selecting the right file ComparePSD will be started with the files selected.
