Registration

In order to register you will need to provide your valid e-mail address (your e-mail address will be used as your login name) and a password. After you entered these details the server will ask you to confirm your email by sending a special message to the address provided. The message contains a link which leads you back to the PixelNovel site.

After the email is confirmed you will be asked to choose a name for your account. The name that you enter will be used to form your account’s URL. To make sure that the URL of your account is unique, we require that all account names are unique. That is why you will be asked to choose another name if you enter the name that is already in use.

Why do I need to provide both email and project name?

There are 2 main reasons why we ask you to provide your email and then to choose a project name:

• The name of your account will be used as a part of URL for your account, so to make the URL nicer and more personal we ask you for a nice and simple account name.
• You may wish to add more users to your account, and it may be confusing for them if they are asked to login into an account named with your e-mail address using their own e-mail address.

You will aslo need to choose the size for your account. There is a free option of 100MB, and also there are options of 5GB and 25GB. If you choose any of the non-free options, you will be redirected to the payment section.

Once both the account name and the account size are specified, your account is ready to use. You will see the links to the Timeline Lite client. Please download and install Timeline Lite on every computer where you intend to use Timeline.

While installing Timeline Lite, you will be asked your PixelNovel account, your email and password. Please enter the information that you specified during registration.
